Dr. Steve Tiang, BDS (Otago)

As the principal dentist, Steve enjoys a wide variety of aspects of dentistry. His particular interests lie with high tech dentistry especially Cerec CADCAM crown, bridge, and implant restorations; high quality root canal therapy; and soft tissue laser therapy.

Steve plays in and sponsors a team in the Waikato Hockey Association's winter hockey league as well as sponsoring an amazing young Squash player Sophie Hodges

Dr. Rita Patel, BDS (Sydney) 

Rita focuses on providing conservative, preventative dentistry with the utmost gentleness. Rita has been at NorthCare Dental Centre since 1999.

 Dr. Gus Ariaens, BDS (Otago), BSc (Otago) 

Gus attends NorthCare Dental Centre to provide non-specialist Oral Surgery services. His main focus is on surgical extractions eg wisdom teeth, which would otherwise require referral to a specialist oral surgeon. Gus has worked for several years as a Dental House Surgeon at Waikato Hospital.

Gus enjoys moutain biking, tramping, judo and restoring classic cars.

Dr Dan Stapleton, BDS (Otago)

Dr Dan Stapleton graduated from Otago Dental School (BDS 2010). Upon graduation Dan worked at Waikato Hospital in the Maxillo-Facial Surgery Unit, followed by 7 years in private practice in Hamilton/Auckland/London/Wellington. He is a caring an empathetic dentist who strives to create and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles for his clients. Away from work he enjoys travel, music and sports, and is currently renovating a house and a caravan with his wife Catherine and Agnes the cavoodle.

Dr Whare Noe, BDS (Otago)

Whare is a graduate of Otago University (BDS 2001) and an old classmate of Steve. He has worked in private practice since graduating, owning his own practice in Morrinsville from 2007 until 2018. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, and is an empathetic, gentle and caring dentist. He endeavours to make every experience as pleasant as possible, and works with people to give the best outcome for them. In his spare time Whare enjoys spending time with his family, trying new adventure sports, and has recently started trail riding. He is also restoring a classic Holden.

Yun Yu Liu, Registered Dental Hygienist / Dental Therapist (Otago)

Yun-Yu (YY) is a dual trained Dental Therapist & Dental Hygienist. She enjoys both dental therapy and dental hygiene work, thus she works for us part time as a dental hygienist and part time working for the Waikato District Health Board looking after children and adolescents. YY will work with you to motivate you to maintain a high standard of oral hygiene. She strives to help her patients achieve disease free mouths and beautiful smiles. She enjoys meeting new people, listening to music and travelling. YY's main goal is to ensure every patient walks out of the clinic with a positive experience.
